The Highlights

This video is a compilation of some of my favorite moments from the six films featured here. Too long to be a reel but short enough to give a little taste of what lies below.

Chirped

I always jump an any opportunity to delve into the absurd, and Chirped scratched that itch. It tells the story of a struggling musician with an unusual gift. It was filmed entirely on film and in the style of a documentary. It was unlike anything I’ve participated in before and I feel so honored to have been part of it.

Flat Tire Inc.

Flat Tire Inc. is short film produced by Greenpoint Pictures as part of their internship program. The director of this film gave me ample opportunity to improvise and it led to some of my favorite moments in the film. The interactions on the subway and on the park bench were completely unscripted and an absolute blast to film.

Paix

A film written and directed by Chris Briney who’s been my roommate and close friend long before he became a movie star. This film is an exploration of grief and was inspired by the novel Transcendental Style in Film by Paul Schrader. It was filmed in Naugatuck, Connecticut in Chris’s childhood home.

Hands On

Hands On is a film about a struggling actor who’s making ends meet as a hand model. I play a small role as the director of the commercials he models for. The director of Hands On, Nicholas Kennedy always has an interesting vision for his films and I’m always eager to participate in his projects. I’m featured in the first 2 minutes and again at the 7 minute mark.

Triangle Below Canal Street

This film was another passion project of my close friend and filmmaker Nicholas Kennedy. Inspired by 70’s crime dramas, we filmed it on a shoestring budget on the street and in our apartments. The final product is not as refined as his more recent work, but it remains as one of the most fun characters and narratives I’ve had the chance to inhabit

Icarus

I wrote this film for a school project at the end of my senior year. Its rough and a little clunky, but still holds a special place in my heart. There are moments that shine, and many things I would change, but it remains a celebration of what a few friends can accomplish in one afternoon with a camera and an idea.
